About This Episode

As we head towards the close of 2021, advisors are faced with the challenge of managing client expectations amid record-high equity markets, dismal interest rates, and heightened threats of inflation. In addition to market headwinds, the gap in future return expectations between advisors and clients is at all-time highs.

About Our Guest

Trevor Terrell, head of sales at Innovator ETFs, joins the podcast today to speak about how advisors can use defined outcome ETFs as a tool to help manage client needs and expectations by providing more predictable outcomes that are known before investing. With applications in both equity and bond markets, defined outcome ETFs afford investors the unique opportunity to remain invested while also putting “guardrails” on their investment in the case of market downturns.

Trevor joined Innovator Capital Management in 2017 and is the head of sales, responsible for distribution and marketing efforts across the institutional, national wirehouse, registered investment advisor and regional and independent broker dealer channels.
