Kirk leads Advisor Group’s Consulting teams which includes the Advisor Marketing Team, the Business Coaching & Consulting team, the Advisor Education Team, the Succession Team and the Technology Solutions Consulting team. These teams provide coaching, consulting and training to financial professionals on how to improve the efficiency, sustainability, and profitability of their business.

This includes the award-winning Next Level coaching program, the award winning MyCMO and MySuccessionPlan platforms, initiatives to develop next-generation advisors and an industry-leading behavioral financial advice program. Kirk is also executive leader for Advisor Group’s events and meetings teams.

Prior to this role, Kirk oversaw the human resources and strategy functions at Securities America. He joined Securities America in 1994 and over the years held leadership roles in practice management, technology training and adoption, events planning, and serving as chief strategy officer. He also led strategic development efforts for Ladenburg Thalmann. An accomplished speaker, writer and business consultant, Kirk has provided presentations and key notes at various industry conferences and is a regular contributor to print and online publications. He is the author of “Hiring to Grow: A Practical Workbook,” and “Managing for Performance: The Cycle of Success.”

Kirk earned a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and graduated with honors from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He has been an adjunct instructor for the UNO College of Business MBA program and holds the Series 7 and 24 securities licenses, the Behavioral Financial Advice (BFA) designation and is a certified BFA instructor.
