Julien is a Senior Vice President at MerQube as Head of Products. MerQube aims to disrupt the indexing space by applying the unique expertise of the founding team in building large-scale and highly available systems, and in creating, operating, and commercializing indices.

Prior to MerQube, Julien was Head of Institutional QIS Structuring at J.P. Morgan in New York, focusing on quantitative strategies in the volatility, asset allocation and linear space. For the past 10 years, Julien worked with all types of clients in the Americas to bring new ideas to market.

Prior to moving to New York, Julien worked across Structuring and Trading roles in Asia for J.P. Morgan and Societe Generale. Julien holds a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from ESSEC Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Audencia Business School.

Wes is a Principal and Director of Portfolio Solutions within Milliman FRM. This group works with other firms to provide risk management products and solutions. Wes partners with portfolio managers, broker/dealers, model strategists and other asset managers to help determine how Milliman’s various Managed Risk Strategies can be used most effectively in investment portfolios.

Prior to joining Milliman, Wes worked in fixed income portfolio management and institutional bond sales for financial institutions, primarily focusing on banks and credit unions. Before that, he was a US Treasuries and Eurodollar futures trader for a proprietary trading group.
