About Our Guest

Eric Hewitt has 23 years of investment management experience and is the chief investment officer for SS&C ALPS Advisors.

Before taking on that role, Eric was a portfolio manager and research analyst on the Value and Income Team at OppenheimerFunds on four different equity and balanced strategies. Prior to OppenheimerFunds, Eric was a product manager at Columbia Management Investment Advisors, where he oversaw value and income strategies across institutional and retail investment channels. Over his career, Eric has run long-short, hedged equity strategies, and was co-portfolio manager and co-sector head for AllianceBernstein’s global consumer strategies and team.

Eric earned his MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Finance and a BA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he double majored in political science and international relations.
