Gas Prices Rise for First Time in Four Weeks

Gas prices rose for the first time in four weeks. As of June 16th, the price of regular and premium gas were each up 3 cents from the previous week. According to GasBuddy.com, California has the highest average price for regular at $4.58 and Mississippi has the cheapest at $2.65.

Currently, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline stands at $3.14 with premium gasoline averaging $4.06 per gallon. One year ago, regular gas was priced at $3.44 per gallon, while premium gas was at $4.33 per gallon.
