Slowing growth prospects, ongoing geopolitical concerns, inflation and interest rate policies are just some of the many reasons for the volatile year in Asian and emerging markets; however, there are reasons for optimism as we approach 2023. Fundamentals remain strong, and emerging markets are still expected to lead the global recovery and exceed those of more developed economies.
On this webcast, experts from the Matthews Asia investment team will share their perspectives on where the global economy is headed and why now may be an opportune time to invest.

Discussion topics will include:

  • The outlook for Asian and emerging markets
  • How to navigate global recessionary concerns
  • Key investment themes within and outside of Asia that are reshaping the investment landscape
  • Sectors that may impact growth prospects in emerging markets, and particularly in China
  • Why an active approach can help investors navigate market volatility
