Gasoline Prices Jump to 3.5-Month High

Gas prices jumped to their highest level in 3.5 months this week. As of February 10th, the price of regular and premium gas were up 5 and 6 cents from the previous week, respectively. According to GasBuddy.com, California has the highest average price for regular at $4.60 and Mississippi has the cheapest at $2.64.

Currently, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline stands at $3.13 with premium gasoline averaging $4.05 per gallon. One year ago, regular gas was priced at $3.19 per gallon, while premium gas was at $4.06 per gallon.
