Gasoline Prices Down for 4th Straight Week

Gas prices inched down for a fourth straight week. As of May 20th, the price of regular and premium gas fell 2 and 3 cents from the previous week, respectively. According to, California has the highest average price for regular at $5.12 and Mississippi has the cheapest at $3.00.

Currently, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline stands at $3.58 with premium gasoline averaging $4.49 per gallon. One year ago, regular gas was priced at $3.53 per gallon, while premium gas was at $4.36 per gallon.
