Gasoline Prices Rise for 3rd Straight Week

Gas prices are up for a third straight week for the first time since August. As of February 12th, the prices of regular and premium gas increased 6 cents and 5 cents from the previous week, respectively. According to GasBuddy.com, Hawaii has the highest average price for regular at $4.69 and Oklahoma has the cheapest at $2.73.

Currently, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline stands at $3.14, with premium gasoline averaging $4.01 per gallon. One year ago, regular gas was priced at $3.39 per gallon, while premium gas was at $4.21 per gallon.
